Senior Center Plans Revised
The plans for the proposed new Senior Center have been revised to provide for an elevator. This change will allow interior access to the basement for future expansion, but will also negate the need for a costly sprinkler system originally required by the State Building Code. Although the elevator will obviously result in an additional cost, it will be substantially less expensive than the sprinker system which would require the construction of a water storage tank and fire pump due to the low water pressure in the area.
