Special Town Meeting
A Special Town Meeting has been called by the Board of Selectmen in order to act on the FY2012 Operating and Transportation Budget for the Southern Berkshire Regional School District which has been recertified by the Regional School Committee. Voter Information Session
The Board of Selectmen will host a special Voter Information Session on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall regarding the upcoming Special Town Meeting which has been called to act on the FY2012 Southern Berkshire Regional School District (SBRSD) Recertified Budget . The session will involve a brief presentation explaining the SBRSD budget approval process and options available to voters. There will be plenty of time available for questions and answers. Kops N Kids
The Sheffield Police Department, in conjunction with other South Berkshire Police Departments, will once again hold the Kops N Kids program at the Town Park. Commission on Disabilities Seeks Members
The Commission on Disabilities is looking for volunteers to serve on their very active Commission and help bring about the full integration and participation of people with disabilities in Sheffield. Persons who have a disability of any sort, those who have family members with disabilities, those who work in a profession that serves people with disabilities, those who have particular knowledge of disability laws, or those who simply have an interest in advocating for persons with disabilities, are welcome to apply. Meetings, which are open to the public, are held twice per month at the Town Hall. Please send a letter of interest to the Board of Selectmen at Town Hall, 21 Depot Square, P.O.
