Licenses expire on March 31st of each year. Regardless of the time of year that you license, renewals take place each March 1-May 1. If you are new to town or you have a dog six months of age or older you may license any time of year without penalty. Licensing may be done in person or by mail. The cost for licensing is $5 for spayed/neutured dogs, $10 for intact dogs. If you choose to mail your payment, please include a check made payable to the Town of Sheffield and a self-addressed, stamped envelope, along with proof of current rabies vaccine to:
