Temporary Sign Regulations

At their meeting on September 5, 2023 the Select Board voted to require a Temporary Roadside Event Sign permit for any signs placed in the grassy area at the intersection of Route 7 and Maple Ave. There have been complaints that there is not a clear line of site when pulling out of Maple Ave. and it is creating a safety hazard.

Applications for a Temporary Roadside Event Sign may be found on the Town's website www.sheffieldma.gov under Forms and Documents - Select Board. Forms should be submitted to the Town Administrator's office for approval.

If you currently have a sign at this location please fill out a permit application. Any signs that do not have a permit will be removed on September 20, 2023.
